This thematic evaluation assessed WFP’s Shock-Responsive Social Protection (SRSP) work in 12 countries where WFP has an office, as well as through the Caribbean MCO which covers an additional 22 countries and territories. The formative regional evaluation aimed to understand high-level outcomes and extract lessons and good practices. It identified the results achieved from implementing the SRSP framework and pillar of the Regional Social Protection Strategy by WFP in LAC, including those related to gender equality and the extent to which the most marginalized groups were reached. The methodology included extensive document review, visits to three countries, interviews and discussions with 225 stakeholders, a survey with 100 respondents, and five country and thematic case studies.
