DE has conducted three meta synthesis assignments for UNODC. The first looked at all evaluations commissioned by UNODC between 2019-2021. This was followed by a synthesis of assessments of UNODC’s work in East Africa and another of UNODC’s work in Mexico, both of which were conducted in 2023. A rigorous process was used in all of the assignments to systematically code data points from independent evaluation reports of UNODC projects, programmes, and strategies, as well audits and other assessments. The results were used to guide future programming, strategic frameworks and policies.
