The Evaluation Guidance project supported the Independent Evaluation Unit (IEU) in developing its first comprehensive handbook for evaluation managers and evaluators, aligning with agency priorities and UNEG standards. This involved co-authoring a compendium of good evaluation practices for EU and UN counter-terrorism programming. The scope included client communication, preliminary design, research, and the development/writing/design of two key publications: the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism Evaluation Handbook, 2023, and the UN Global Counter-Terrorism Coordination Compact’s Compendium of Good Practices for Measuring Results in CT/PCVE. This comprehensive approach ensured that evaluation practices met the highest standards, effectively measuring results in counter-terrorism efforts.
