AIMS undertook a six country socio-economic impact study of System of Rice Intensification (SRI) in West Africa; a project of the West African Agricultural Productivity Programme, which included a focus on women farmers. The mixed methods study involved data collection in 28 villages through 800 household surveys and over 50 interviews and focus group discussions in Benin, Ghana, Liberia, Mali, Senegal and Togo.
